Job Title: Solutions Architect - Salesforce

Location: Quincy, MA
Duration: 12+ Months
Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Work Mode: Onsite/Hybrid (as required)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce architecture and system integration. This role is part of the Enterprise Architecture Team and will focus on the Integration Eligibility and Enrollment (IEE) and Salesforce-based projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, and the ability to align technology solutions with business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design scalable Salesforce architecture solutions across business processes, platforms, and infrastructure.
  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for Salesforce implementations and integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and solution integrators to ensure alignment with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Define and document technical architecture, functional and non-functional requirements, and design specifications.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing Salesforce implementations, including custom code and integrations.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
  • Monitor Salesforce org health, performance, and governance limits; provide regular reports and recommendations.
  • Guide new systems onboarding to the Common Noticing Solution (CNS) for the client's agencies.
  • Participate in technical audits, design reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Evaluate Salesforce AppExchange products and recommend build vs. buy decisions.
  • Provide biweekly readouts on findings, recommendations, and system health.
  • Review and improve SDLC processes and technical deliverables.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST, BULK) and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Technical Architect, Application Architect, Platform Developer).
  • Experience with:
    • Enterprise Content Services Platforms (e.g., OpenText)
    • API management platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)
    • Cloud-native tools and frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Cloudflare, Fuse)
    • IAM and Privileged Access Management solutions
    • Modern web/mobile frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB)
    • AWS hosting and services
    • Document Management solutions
  • Familiarity with PHI, PII, SSA data handling and compliance.
  • Experience with state government health eligibility and enrollment systems.
