Job Title: Data Sourcing Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Long-term contract)

Job Description:

We're seeking a Data Sourcing Analyst with experience in data sourcing, financial data analytics, and regulatory reporting. You'll work with finance and reporting teams to support data sourcing for US regulatory reports, profile large datasets, and create detailed source-to-target mapping documents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support data sourcing for US regulatory reports (Basel, Y-9C, 2052a, Call Reports, etc.)
- Profile large datasets, assess data quality, and identify missing or inconsistent attributes
- Create detailed source-to-target mapping documents with data hops, transformation logic, and attribute lineage
- Collaborate with finance product owners, technology, data stewards, and governance teams
- Design automated controls for completeness and accuracy in reporting data

Requirements:

- Experience in data sourcing, financial data analytics, or regulatory reporting
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based analytics tools
- Strong understanding of US regulatory reports and data governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in large banking or financial institutions
- Data controls and governance awareness
- Experience with source-to-target mapping documentation and data lineage
