Description: Our client is currently seeking a Security Engineer: Hybrid Remote - Mondays and Fridays Remote!

The Managed Services Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our infrastructure and endpoint security operations. The role involves contributing to procedural documentation and assisting in data analysis and SIEM platform usage. We're looking for someone with a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

The key responsibilities for this role include maintaining and supporting infrastructure components like firewalls, routing, VDIs, and Thin Clients. The candidate will also perform system hardening of endpoints in alignment with CIS benchmarks, administer and troubleshoot GPO and Intune configurations, and develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, conducting data analysis to support operational and security initiatives, utilizing SIEM platforms such as Elastic (ESQL), Splunk, and Skybox for monitoring and investigation, and collaborating using tools like Confluence and Jira for documentation and project tracking are essential aspects of the role. The candidate will also participate in and lead meetings to provide updates, share insights, and drive team alignment, and communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.

We require technical skills in infrastructure proficiency, firewall configuration and management, network routing, VDI and Thin Client support, endpoint hardening (CIS standards), GPO and Intune administration, SOP writing and documentation, data analysis expertise, and SIEM exposure to platforms like Elastic, ESQL, Splunk, and Skybox. Experience with Confluence and Jira is also a must.

On the softer side, we are looking for a self-starter with a proactive mindset, someone who is a quick learner and adaptable to new tools and environments. The ideal candidate should be coachable, capable of coaching others, highly organized, detail-oriented, team-oriented with cultural adaptability, inquisitive, trustworthy, dependable, and possess high integrity and ethical standards. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfort in leading and participating in meetings, are also important.

Preferred certifications for this role include cloud certifications like Microsoft AZ-900 and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP), AI & Data certifications like AI Fundamentals (if applicable), and SIEM certifications like Splunk Certified and Elastic Certified.
