Job Details
- Manage and maintain detailed attorney calendars in Outlook, including scheduling internal and external meetings, court dates, and appointments
- Provide high-level administrative support, including coordinating meetings and conference calls, organizing paper and electronic files, and managing photocopying, scanning, and printing needs
- Assist with the preparation, service, and filing of pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, and other litigation materials
- Draft, edit, format, and proofread letters, memos, and legal documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Compose and manage routine correspondence and professional email communications
- Handle administrative processes such as requesting conflict checks, opening new client matters, and submitting internal approvals
- Support the Executive Partner with additional tasks and ad hoc projects as needed, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience providing legal administrative support, preferably in a family or matrimonial law practice
- Matrimonial law experience is a strong plus
- Proactive, highly organized, and capable of anticipating needs and managing multiple priorities
- Strong client service orientation with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Technologically proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and all levels of staff
