Position Description:
Employees in this role are responsible for development and management of software products, web applications, mobile apps, online platforms, and connected devices throughout their full lifecycle planning, definition, production, release, and end-of-life. They focus on value, viability, design, usability, and feasibility, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to shape the product vision.

They act as the central resource, working with design, process, test, quality, and marketing teams as the product evolves.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to define product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization s broader digital ecosystem and goals.
  2. Collaborate closely with software developers and business stakeholders to define the roadmap, MVPs, and MLPs. Develop business cases for new features.
  3. Create and maintain a product roadmap with strategic direction, priorities, and timelines; initiate, drive, and own programs related to the product.
  4. Review and approve actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Maintain feature documentation, user training materials, and tutorials.
  5. Identify key metrics and performance indicators to measure product/service success.
  6. Make business-impacting decisions on pricing, target audience, revenue models, and manage product P&L.
  7. Lead product direction using industry and consumer trends, competitive analysis, and in-person customer research.
  8. Collaborate with tech lead, developers, security, and quality teams to manage UAT and security aspects, evaluate results, and determine release readiness.

Additional Information:
This role involves working as a mobile app Product Manager on electric vehicle (EV) features.

It requires close collaboration with the Electrification Product organization on roadmap alignment and software deliverables. Prior experience with electric vehicles, Ford software development, or mobile app product management is preferred. Any working arrangement is accepted, though on-site is preferred.
