Title: Project Maintenance Planner
Ideal Start date: 8/11 or sooner
Location: Alma, Wisconsin - onsite
Length of Contract: 6 months+ possible extension
Hours: 40 hours per week
Background Check and Drug Screen Both Required
This client supplies electricity to 24 distribution cooperatives and 27 municipal utilities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois.
Develop, implement, and oversee detailed plans for complex work orders including maintenance and system upgrades.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Establish priorities for maintenance tasks, considering safety, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
Station Operation Support:
- Review work requests
- Prepare work order packages as needed for maintenance work
- Develop and update equipment master records
- Determine material and parts availability as part of work order planning process
- Review scoped work orders with maintenance management & forepersons to ensure agreement with scope, methods, time & craft requirements before scheduling
- Estimate the cost of all planned work
- Serve as the site technical expert for CMMS (Microsoft D365)
Evaluate completed WOs for opportunities to improve estimates and work methods.
Evaluate equipment history to identify failure trend and improve. Recommend adjustments to processes/methods.
Assist in preparation of dept budgets as requested, in relation to planned projects.
Education
Bachelor Degree (mechanical, electrical, or other relevant engineering field)
5 years of experience in utility generation
Skills
Knowledge of the operation, maintenance, design, and construction of power generating facilities
Analytical problem solving
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
