Job Description T+S Remote Need SSN, DOB and Linkedin Need very senior candidates We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multidimensional modeling, star schema design, and data management. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling techniques and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain multidimensional data models using the Kimball approach. Design large star schemas with atomic transaction fact tables. Perform 3rd normal formal modeling. Write clear and concise definitions for data elements. Formulate detailed data mappings. Abstract complex data concepts and communicate them effectively. Manage and utilize MDM, metadata, and reference data. Use ERStudio or ERWin for data modeling tasks. Must-Have Qualifications: Expertise in multidimensional modeling (Kimball approach). Experience in designing large star schemas with atomic transaction fact tables. Proficiency in 3rd normal formal modeling. Strong skills in writing definitions and formulating detailed mappings. Ability to abstract complex data concepts. Excellent communication skills to convey approaches and concepts clearly. Experience with MDM, metadata, and reference data. Proficiency in ERStudio or ERWin. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience in modeling abstract, agnostic concepts. Proficiency in UML class modeling. Experience with Databricks. |
