Genesys IVR Tester (with Cyara) Onsite | Newark, NJ
Contract: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2
We are looking for an experienced Genesys IVR Tester with strong Cyara expertise and a background in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) environments. This role is fully onsite in Newark, NJ.
Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end IVR testing for Genesys-based contact center systems.

Develop test cases, test plans, and automation scenarios using Cyara.

Validate call flows, prompts, routing logic, integrations, and backend responses.

Execute functional, regression, and load testing cycles.

Identify defects, analyze root causes, and work with dev teams for resolution.

Ensure testing quality and compliance aligned with BFSI standards.

Provide clear documentation, test evidence, and status reporting.
Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Genesys IVR testing

Cyara test automation expertise (critical)

BFSI domain experience (banking/financial call flows, compliance, security)

IVR call flow analysis, CTI understanding, voice app testing

Knowledge of APIs, backend validations, and log analysis

Strong communication and defect-tracking skills (Jira/ALM/QC)
Nice to Have

Exposure to SIP, telephony protocols, and call routing

Experience working in Agile teams
