Senior System Engineer with Dynatrace Atlanta, GA Hybrid
Longterm Contract
Project Overview:
This role will serve as a Senior System Engineer on the Monitoring/Observability team, responsible for configuring, managing, and supporting enterprise-level solutions for monitoring applications and infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments. The engineer will also support the migration of monitoring tools, including agent installation, grouping, reporting, alerting, and integrations with Event Management and ITSM systems to maintain application performance and availability.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering monitoring solutions supporting Event Management
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace architecture and best practices
- Proficient in deploying and troubleshooting Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGates
- Experience with Dynatrace SaaS
- Ability to analyze Dynatrace telemetry and resolve performance issues
- Working experience with AWS CloudWatch
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Dynatrace environments for infrastructure, applications, and cloud services
- Configure dashboards for system health and performance visibility
- Review and improve existing observability solutions
- Maintain and enhance monitoring scripts for Unix and Windows environments
- Develop custom monitoring solutions utilizing network, server, APM, and log analytics tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align observability with business needs
- Analyze telemetry data (events, alerts, traps, logging) to identify gaps and trends
