Job Summary

The Oracle ERP Automation & Performance Testing Expert is responsible for defining and executing comprehensive automation and performance testing strategies to ensure the scalability, reliability, and quality of Oracle ERP and enterprise applications.

This role involves leading automation framework design, conducting advanced performance analysis, and collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Define and implement end-to-end automation and performance testing strategies for Oracle ERP and enterprise applications.
  • Develop detailed test plans covering scope, objectives, timelines, environments, and resource planning.
  • Analyze and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) related to performance, scalability, and reliability.

Automation Development & Maintenance

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using tools such as:
    • Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Tosca
  • Ensure automated test coverage for critical business workflows.
  • Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

Performance Testing & Analysis

  • Design and execute performance tests including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, k6.
  • Monitor system behavior using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.
  • Analyze system metrics including CPU, memory, disk I/O, network latency, and response times.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and recommend optimization strategies.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams.
  • Clearly communicate test results, risks, and performance insights to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers on automation and performance engineering best practices.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in automation and performance engineering.
  • Drive improvements in testing processes, frameworks, and standards.

Technical Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Expertise in automation tools: Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium.
  • Strong hands-on experience with performance tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, k6.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.

Education

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
