Role: Mainframe Support / Development
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite)

Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- 4+ years of experience in a mainframe support role.
- Provide day-to-day support for mainframe applications and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Support and manage CICS regions, transaction monitoring, and related components.
- Work with DB2 databases perform basic SQL tuning, data analysis, and support database-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application behavior and escalate or resolve issues as necessary.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when needed.
- Document processes, incident resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement or automation to enhance system efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in a mainframe support role.
- Working knowledge of z/OS, CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Basic development/debugging experience in COBOL or other mainframe languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, especially when interacting with cross-functional teams.
