Job Details

Seeking an MS Infrastructure Specialist skilled in:

Microsoft Active Directory, Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) contract resource.

Provide day-to-day administration, capacity and resiliency planning & implementation, migration to Intune and/or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), device deployment, device patching, Active Directory group policy migration or troubleshooting, assisting customers with migration to the enterprise domains & standardizing on-boarding.

Duration: 12 months

Work location: Columbus (onsite)

Required skills:

-Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MCM/MECM/SCCM)

-Exp. with MECM especially in co-management models.

-Administer & design the implementation of MECM deployments to various customers across various complex networks and environments.

-Create & administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports in MECM.

-Troubleshoot failed MECM deployments and MECM health issues.

-Ensure consistent enterprise-wide systems and security update delivery via MECM.

Administer SCCM software delivery, such as:

-Windows server administration

-Various SCCM configurations

-Application delivery

-Client health reporting

-Manage Network/SCCM boundaries.

-Bandwidth allocation

-Manage MECM delivery optimization.

-Experience with standing up a new implementation of MECM.

-Must be able to teach and train technicians to perform MECM or Intune tasks.

-Exp. with Patch My PC is a plus.

-Exp. with endpoint protection technologies is a plus

Intune administration:

-Expert level experience with all aspects of Intune for corporate owned and personal devices supporting all Intune supported OS.

-Responsible for installation/implementation and configuration of Profiles/ policies. Major role includes providing solutions, implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of various platforms. (Windows, Android & iOS)

-Intune compliance and configuration profiles (policies) for all the platforms (Windows 10/11, Android & iOS)

-PowerShell scripts for creating policies and pushing them via Intune.

-Windows 10/11 update Rings and Windows 10/11 feature updates.

-Windows 10/11 Autopilot via Intune

-BitLocker Encryption through Intune.

-Security Baseline policy deployment

-Intune Deployment Profiles. (Azure AD Join & Hybrid Join)

-Azure AD Users and Groups

-Intune Tenant Administration

-End-Points Life cycle management like feature update, upgrades etc.

-Assist in design and implementation of the IT infrastructure, troubleshooting and provide solutions for problems and conflicts.

-Azure AD Password policies.

-Application Delivery infrastructure design and deployment for Windows 10/11, Android & iOS.

-Maintain an awareness of current developments in Digital Workplace and conduct research and development of new technologies.

-Provide advice, both reactively and proactively, to customers and colleagues.

-Intune troubleshooting

-Intune Reports & Endpoint analytics

-Coordinating service set up in the customer environment.

-Configuration of Windows Autopilot, deployment of OS upgrades & application along with MDM & MAM policies

-Manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot and optimize mobile solutions presently in place while making suggestions and adjustments for future needs.

-Understanding of SSO and MFA technologies for SaaS applications.

-Understanding of Azure AD Connect and Azure AD directory service for managing cloud identity.

-Application onboarding, packaging, provisioning & deployment via Intune platform. Good knowledge of application packaging and MSI technologies

Active Directory and Windows Administration:

-Exp. with Active Directory (group policy troubleshooting, domain migration, transition to Intune profiles)

-Experience with Microsoft Entra ID in relation to Intune.

-Active Directory & Network File Share management

*Create and modify permissions.

*Configure access to remote file shares.

-Active Directory Group Policy management

*Maintain policies per security guidelines to ensure compliance.

*Modify policies per manager specs.

*Modify group policy objects per manager specs.

-Configure drive mappings for new and changed drive paths.

-Assist in account management and account security tasks in Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and Active Directory.

-Exp. in multi-technology Windows domains.

-Exp with Windows domain migrations.

-Exp. with creation of a new Windows group policy environment.

Desired skills:

-Exp. in project management or co-leading a technical project under a project manager.

-Microsoft Certification(s) for the technologies listed above.

-Create, test and update disaster recovery plans for all the technologies listed above.

-Create technical documentation for new or existing services and report creation.

-Assist with communication with project and leadership stakeholders.

-Assist with desktop support/Endpoint team with resolutions to problems because of a technical migration.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively working in a fast-paced environment where technology and customers' requirements can change regularly.
