Intune/ Entra AD Consultant
Location: 100% remote - ideally EST (manager is there)
Duration: 2 -3 Months Contract (could extend)

Project Overview

  • The company is managing four Microsoft 365 tenants that collectively support seven different companies, including one recently acquired in the UK.
  • Long-term goal: consolidate all tenants into a single M365 environment, but this has been delayed longer than expected.
  • Immediate need: standardize Intune and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) across all environments and replicate best practices

Current Challenges

  • Multiple moving pieces due to acquisitions and ongoing operations.
  • Running day-to-day IT while trying to stand up a new company.
  • Existing Intune infrastructure was built by an MSP, but they now need someone to optimize and scale it.
  • Need full discovery of current tenant configurations to identify gaps, missed opportunities, and functionality issues.
  • Looking for best practices and guidance on what s possible with Intune

Role Requirements

  • Intune and Entra ID expertise with hands-on experience in multi-tenant environments.
  • Ability to standardize and replicate configurations across tenants.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and deployment.
  • Experience with M365 migrations, device provisioning, and deprovisioning workflows.
  • Discovery and rollout expected to take 2 3 weeks per tenant.
