SUMMER INTERNSHIP

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data Analyst Intern is responsible for assisting in a variety of projects across the company that promote environmental efficiency. These could include projects ranging from industry analysis to energy use at the Daikin Texas Technology Park. Analysts implement methods to improve data reliability and quality that drive decision-making.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS 'big data' technologies
  • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
  • Develop ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency
