Who are we looking for? We are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in Cisco networking technologies, campus data center, network design, and network automation. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and managing large-scale enterprise networks preferably in financial services or other mission-critical environments. This role demands deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining complex network infrastructures.

Indicative Activities:

Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise-scale network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.

Manage Cisco routers, switches, Nexus series, and Cisco ACI fabrics in production environments.

Define and enforce network standards, policies, and best practices to ensure security, scalability, and high availability.

Drive network automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new implementations, migrations, and major upgrades.

Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex network incidents and outages.

Oversee and validate configurations for firewalls (Palo Alto), load balancers (F5), and IPAM/DNS/DHCP (Infoblox) systems.

Prepare HLDs (High-Level Designs) and LLDs (Low-Level Designs) and maintain comprehensive network documentation.

Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure.

Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal security and change management processes.

Technical Skills:

Must Have

Cisco Routing & Switching Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, HSRP, and QoS.

Cisco Nexus & Data Center Networking Hands-on experience with Nexus 5K/7K/9K platforms and NX-OS.

Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Design, configuration, and policy-based automation.

Network Automation Experience with tools like Python, Ansible, or Cisco DNA Center.

High Availability and Redundancy Design for critical network components.

Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization across enterprise environments.

Proven experience managing medium-to-large-scale enterprise networks (preferably financial organizations).

Good To Have

Exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls (policy management, Panorama).

Experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM configuration and troubleshooting).

Knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).

Familiarity with SDN solutions and Cloud Networking.

Understanding Network Security Principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS).

Scripting or orchestration experience for CI/CD-based network automation.

Process Skills:

Proficiency in ITIL-based operational processes Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.

Ability to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and technical documentation.

Experience with project delivery methodologies and stakeholder communication during large-scale implementations.

Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

Conduct technical design reviews, risk assessments, and post-implementation validation.

Qualification:

Professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures (with focus on Cisco).

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching or Data Center)

Palo Alto PCNSE, F5-CA / F5-CTS, or Infoblox NIOS certifications (optional but advantageous).

Demonstrated experience working in medium to large scale network deployments.
