Senior Electronics Technician - (Contract to Hire)
Location: Fully onsite in Troy, MI
Pay: $32-$36/hour (W2) - Negotiable based on experience, education, and location
We are seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to support a manufacturing team for our client. In this role, you'll be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic products at various stages of production to ensure top-quality performance and functionality. You'll also load software, perform diagnostic evaluations, and troubleshoot down to the component level, ensuring that all products meet our company's quality standards.

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to support a manufacturing team for our client. In this role, you'll be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic products at various stages of production to ensure top-quality performance and functionality. You'll also load software, perform diagnostic evaluations, and troubleshoot down to the component level, ensuring that all products meet our company's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and final tests, including burn-in, on electronic products.
- Troubleshoot and repair failed products using test equipment and visual inspection.
- Diagnose issues down to the component or failure mode level.
- Load required software into products per specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management in a positive, team-focused manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of hands-on electronics experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Proven ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify and correct failure modes.
- Experience with digital, analog, and microcontroller circuit troubleshooting.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and digital multimeters.
- Skilled in hand soldering and repair of through-hole and surface-mount components.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or a related technical field.
