Role: Java Technical Lead
Location: Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC
HYBRID : On-Site 2 x week

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Technical Lead to lead our Java development team in designing, developing, and delivering high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, reviewing code, ensuring adherence to best practices, and mentoring junior developers while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications.
Guide team members in technical architecture and design decisions.
Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software on time.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Maintain and improve existing systems; identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption when appropriate.
Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum processes and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of professional Java development experience.
2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.
Strong expertise in Java (8 or above), Spring Framework (Core, Boot, MVC, Security).
Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), source control (Git), and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
