Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems/Network Administrator to join our team in Shelton, Washington. This role is fully on-site and requires a strong technical background in managing and troubleshooting IT systems, particularly in healthcare environments. If you have expertise in network administration, virtualization, and cloud platforms, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless operations in both Windows and Linux environments.

Administer and troubleshoot healthcare IT systems such as Greenway, Citrix, Dentrix, and MiPacs.

Oversee Active Directory, Windows Server, and backup solutions to ensure system reliability and data security.

Configure and monitor network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and Fortigate firewalls.

Implement and manage virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V, optimizing system performance and scalability.

Utilize cloud platforms, notably Microsoft Azure, for system integration and resource management.

Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the effective use of diagnostic imaging systems and telehealth solutions.

Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices for healthcare IT systems.

Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to support system continuity.

Requirements

Must haves:
  • Bachelor's Degree in CS IT, Health Informatics, or related
  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Admin, IT Support, or similar preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Strong experience with EHR systems (Greenway, Citrix, Dentrix, MiPacs, etc.) including administration and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Windows & Linux environments - AD, SQL Server, and backup solutions
  • Strong understanding of Network concepts - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN's, and Firewalls - Fortigate
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS they use Azure)


Nice to haves:
  • Certifications such as MS Azure, CompTIA Net+, CompTIASec+
  • Experience working with medical devices, diagnostic imaging systems, or telehealth solutions
  • Previous experience working in a medical clinic or healthcare setting
  • Experience with HL7
