Our client is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst.This is a 12 plus months contract role. Please find below the details of the position.
Job Description
Position Title: Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Hartford CT / Remote Location
Length: Contract C2C
JOB DESCRIPTION
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Deep Platform Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and best practices (Security model, Automation strategies, Data limitations).
- Certifications: Should hold the Salesforce certification plus at least two consultant-level certifications
- Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments
- Data Proficiency: Strong understanding of data migration, data integration, and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Experience with integration middleware concepts.
- Certified Salesforce Application Architect or Business Analyst Certification.
- Industry-specific experience in Healthcare Payer
Competencies & Soft Skills
- Communication: Ability to translate technical jargon into business language for stakeholders and vice versa.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring junior team members
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to negotiate with stakeholders when requirements conflict or scope creep occurs.
Strategic Analysis & Solutioning
- Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders and department heads to define business processes and functional requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements for the development team.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Salesforce platform, advising the business on "Out of the Box" features vs. custom development to minimize technical debt.
- Partner with Solution Architects to design scalable solutions across Health Cloud.
Implementation & Delivery
- Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environment.
- Create detailed documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), process flowcharts, and data models.
- Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, flows, and validation rules to build prototypes or Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Quality Assurance & Adoption :
- Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including creating test plans, triaging bugs, and obtaining sign-off.
- Drive user adoption through the creation of training materials and leading the sessions.
- Analyze data trends and reports to recommend continuous improvements to the platform.
