Location: Hybrid onsite in Jersey City, Boston or Dallas
Duration: Contract to Hire
Rate Range: $60 per hour W2
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Writer to support the Cloud Center for Enablement. This team is responsible for building and operating the infrastructure that enables application development teams to deploy and test code efficiently and securely using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. The Technical Writer will play a key role in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that supports internal development teams and ensures smooth infrastructure operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a cloud or infrastructure-focused environment Working knowledge of AWS/Azure MS Word and Excel

- Deployment guides
- Migration runbooks
- Architecture review documentation
- Terraform justifications
- A3P Snowflake migration steps
- Develop documentation from scratch using both structured templates and free-form formats as needed.

- Work closely with technical leads, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.
- Participate in meetings and technical discussions to stay informed on infrastructure changes and updates.

- Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Organize and manage documentation repositories for easy access by application development teams.
- User-Centric Focus:
- Tailor documentation to meet the needs of application development teams who rely on infrastructure services for testing and deployment.
- Ensure clarity and usability of documentation for both technical and semi-technical audiences.
