Description
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nutley, New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in shaping the infrastructure and operational excellence of a fast-scaling ecommerce and live commerce platform. As the technical lead for DevOps, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, reliability, and scalability for a product that is redefining digital marketplaces.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize cloud infrastructure to support the scalability and performance of our ecommerce platform.
Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
Monitor system health and establish best practices for observability and incident response.
Collaborate with product and executive teams to align technical strategies with business goals.
Develop and maintain comprehensive DevOps documentation and workflows.
Mentor and guide less experienced developers and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture.
Identify and address security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Advocate for DevOps principles across the organization, fostering a culture of reliability and scalability.
Coordinate with external engineering partners and internal teams for seamless feature development.
Requirements
At least 10 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
Expertise in cloud architecture, with proficiency in tools such as AWS.
Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and other tools.
Proficiency in container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code tools like Kubernetes and Terraform.
Solid background in system monitoring, incident management, and observability tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of mentoring team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and application security practices.
