Solution IT Inc. is looking for a MySQL DBA (AWS) for one of its clients in Remote (CST hours).

Job Title: MySQL DBA (AWS)
Summary
Seeking an experienced and highly skilled MySQL Database Administrator with proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Deploy, configure, and maintain MySQL on RDS and EC2
- Architect high-availability, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions
- Monitor and tune database performance; optimize queries and troubleshoot issues
- Automate provisioning, patching, and scaling with CloudFormation and Terraform
- Strong Linux administration skills and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Collaborate with development and operations teams on schema design and CI/CD integration
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Expertise in AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, IAM)
- Familiarity with other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is a plus
- Good communication skills.
Work Site: Remote (CST)
Duration: 6+ Months
Expected Start Date: Immediate - 2 weeks
