About the role:
As a Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks, and invests. You will be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting messaging services and maintaining a secure environment.
- Proposing and implementing system enhancements.
- Monitoring system usage and performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Assisting with hardware and software upgrades or repairs.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist.
- Experience with automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Identity management, certificate management, cloudwatch
- End to end understanding of SSL, application, and infrastructure deployment process.
- Experience developing cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Jenkins, Code Deploy (AWS) and/or GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
- Experience with Terraform or Ansible in production environments.
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks such as Splunk, ElastiSearch, Grafana and Prometheus.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
Added bonus if you have:
- Azure experience is also desirable.
- AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate.
- Strong presentation, verbal communication, and written communications skills.
- Ability to lead effectively across organizations and engagements, preferably from a professional services organization or similar.
