Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer and support SAP systems including S/4HANA, BTP, RISE, PI/PO, Datasphere, SAC, and other SaaS platforms.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and tune performance for SAP applications and HANA databases.
- Manage system refreshes, SSL, SSO, and Cloud ALM alert configuration.
- Provide SAP BTP support for CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and API Management.
- Collaborate across teams during development, QA, UAT, cutovers, and go-live hypercare.
- Utilize SAP OpenText Suite (xECM, VIM, OCR) for archiving and document management.
- Administer SAP NetWeaver (ABAP & Java), SOA Manager, Solution Manager (ChaRM), and Redwood RunMyJobs.
- Configure SAP Web Dispatcher, load balancers, and SAP Cloud Connectors.
- Follow change management best practices using ServiceNow, Solution Manager QGM, and CTMS.
- Manage alerting and change processes via SAP CALM and Splunk.
- Support SAP migration, cloud readiness, sizing, and documentation.
- Assist in audit assessments, capacity planning, and KPI reporting.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support and global collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of SAP Basis administration experience.
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and BTP administration.
- Strong skills in HANA DB performance tuning and monitoring.
- Experience in SAP OS/DB migrations (certification preferred).
- Experience managing SRs in hybrid (cloud/on-prem) SAP environments.
- Knowledge of SAP SaaS (SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur).
- Proficient in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, firewalls).
- Experience in Linux, AIX, and Windows environments.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service abilities.
- Supported multiple greenfield and brownfield SAP implementations.
- Comfortable working with global, distributed teams across time zones.
Preferred Skills
- Familiar with HANA DB tools: XS Admin, Web IDE, HANA Studio, SDA.
- Experience with advanced authentication: IAS, SAML2.
- Hands-on with SAP CALM for alert and change management.
- Familiarity with Early Watch Reporting and Solution Manager integrations.
