We're hiring a freelance engineer or data automation expert to help us build a custom scraping and export tool that pulls new job listings daily from major online job boards, based on specific job titles, companies, and hiring manager filters.
This is a fully remote, project-based role for someone with deep experience scraping job board data and structuring it for high-volume recruiting or sales use cases.
What You'll Build:
- A daily automation that scrapes new job postings from popular job boards using:
- Predefined job titles
- Location filters
- Company attributes (where applicable)
- A sorting engine that organizes listings by:
- Hiring manager or job poster title (e.g., VP, Director, Head of)
- Company name
- An automated export in Excel/CSV
What We're Looking For:
Strong experience scraping or aggregating job board data at scale
Skilled in Python (or relevant stack) for scraping, filtering, and exporting data
Comfort working with structured data (job title, company name, contact info, etc.)
Ability to automate clean, readable spreadsheets from raw data
Proactive and independent - able to take a concept and run with it
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with anti-bot/proxy tools for reliable scraping
- Experience in recruitment tech, sales intelligence, or talent sourcing automation
- Ability to build a simple UI/dashboard to trigger or monitor exports
