Job Details
Role Purpose
Be the technical owner of DGUS Azure and platform reliability: performance, security, cost, automation, and incident response. Translate ops telemetry into architectural improvements and keep the platform audit-ready.
Core Responsibilities
- Own Azure architecture & ops: VM/SQL sizing, scaling, backups, patching, IaC
- Network/security: VNets, firewalls/NSGs, VPN/HTTPS, Key Vault, identities
- ClearDATA coordination: alerts, remediation, evidence, policy alignment
- Observability: Log Analytics/App Insights, alert routing, SLO dashboards, RCAs
- Security: cert/domain/DNS lifecycle; access reviews; hardening; vulnerability mgmt
- DR/BCP: backup policies, restore tests, failover runbooks, RTO/RPO reporting
- Release enablement: environment readiness gates; rollback rehearsals
- Automation: PowerShell/Azure CLI/Bicep/Terraform for repeatable tasks
- Mentor IT Ops Analyst; enforce change control & documentation standards
- Partner with Integrations on Rhapsody infra, throughput, and resiliency
Must-Have Skills
- 5 8+ yrs in cloud systems engineering (Azure required), SQL Server admin
- Strong identity (SAML/OIDC), networking, and cert management
- Proven incident commander; RCA author; audit-facing experience (HIPAA/SOC2/HITRUST)
- IaC/automation chops; performance tuning mindset
Nice-to-Have
- Rhapsody/Mirth infra knowledge; BI/report platform deployments
