GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Salesforce Administrator at MedSleuth is a strategic owner of the Salesforce platform, playing a critical role in its configuration, security, and ongoing evolution. This position is more than routine system maintenance- it is a leadership role that ensures the platform remains stable, secure, and aligned with MedSleuth's future needs. Acting as a key partner to both business and technology teams, the Salesforce Administrator drives platform enhancements and oversees the full administrative and release lifecycle with independence, initiative, and strategic foresight.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Manage the Release Lifecycle: independently oversee and execute all Salesforce deployments using tools such as Change Sets and SFDX/CLI. Own end-to-end release process - from packaging to deployment- and manage code repositories (e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps) without reliance on the development team
? Provide Strategic Guidance: serve as a trusted advisor on system architecture, data modeling, and feature implementation. Offer insights that support the long-term scalability, performance, and health of the Salesforce platform
? Ensure Platform Security: take full ownership of the security model, including the design and maintenance of profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and data access policies to ensure a secure and compliance environment
? Lead Release Readiness: monitor Salesforce seasonal releases, assess the impact of upcoming changes, and prepare both the platform and internal teams to adopt new features and capabilities effectively
? Design Engaging User Experiences: build and maintain customer-facing portals and internal sites using Salesforce Experience Cloud, ensuring intuitive and impactful user experiences
? Drive Operational Excellence: perform core administrative functions such as user management, data integrity, and the creation of advanced reports, dashboards, and complex automations using Salesforce Flow to address business needs
? Collaborate Across Teams: partner with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, translate them into effective technical solutions, and manage projects through testing and deployment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? Salesforce Certified Administrator required
? Additional certifications are highly preferred (e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder)
? 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator
? Master of Deployment Processes - deep expertise with deployment tools and release management, include Change Sets, Salesforce DX (SFDX), and CLI deployments
? Expertise in Experience Cloud - proven, hands-on experience designing, configuring, and managing Salesforce Community/Experience Cloud sites
? Security & Data Modeling Expert- extensive experience designing and implementing complex security models and advising on data architecture
? Proficiency with Salesforce Flow for complex process automation
? Experience with Health Cloud, Marking Cloud, or Einstein is highly preferred
