Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Integrations & Jira

Location: Remote

Duration: 3+ months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in building and managing integrations, particularly with Jira and other third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ServiceNow development, ITSM modules, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and REST/SOAP APIs. This role requires an analytical mindset, the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions, and a collaborative spirit to work across business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.

Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and Jira, as well as other tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, CMDB sources, etc.).

Develop REST/SOAP API-based integrations with internal and external systems.

Customize and enhance ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, etc.).

Write script includes, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, etc.

Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis related to integrations and platform performance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

Follow agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospect

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4 6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.

Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations, especially with Jira (REST, webhooks, bi-directional sync).

Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and MID servers.

Experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.

Understanding of ITIL processes and implementation within ServiceNow.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

ServiceNow Certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or IntegrationHub Specialist preferred.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Agile, DevOps or ITOM modules.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or Atlassian ecosystem.

Knowledge of ServiceNow App Engine Studio, Scoped Applications,
