Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Connect management and application owners (e.g., Client Portal, Agent Portal) to gather, refine, and document requirements in JIRA.
• Actively manage the API lifecycle, including scheduling and preparing for releases, performing smoke testing using Postman and assisting with root cause analysis of defects.
• Perform data exploration and validation using SQL in Postgres databases.
• Serve as a key liaison between application owners and Connect management to ensure alignment on requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Lead and mentor the scrum team in an Agile environment, ensuring smooth execution of development sprints and adherence to best practices.
• Continuously improve processes and documentation related to API development, testing, and deployment.

Key Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience, including experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role.
• Strong consulting experience and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven experience in leading scrum teams focused on API development.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile ceremonies.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and SQL/Postgres for data analysis.
• Familiarity with insurance business applications is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
