Accounting Clerk (Accounts Payable)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in a hybrid work environment. This role is perfect for individuals with strong Accounts Payable experience who thrive in a dynamic setting. 

Responsibilities

• Process staff advances, travel reimbursements, and unit travel awards efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and staff to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships.
• Assist in the preparation of 1099 forms and manage contractor data updates.
• Support the supervisor with the escheatment process and weekly check runs.
• Maintain organized vendor files and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Process wire transfers, including necessary bank verifications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team.

Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable environment.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Knowledge of financial processes and compliance requirements.
