Job Title: Management Information Systems (MIS) Manager



Position Summary:



The MIS Manager, as an expert-level user of Viewpoint Spectrum or a seasoned IT project manager able to quickly master ERP's, performs system implementation services, including training, troubleshooting, and problem solving, to our local partners and their teams. Developing exceptional professional relationships while working collaboratively with small local teams, the MIS Manager delivers a fully functioning system based on the partner's unique business processes, while adhering to centralized control and configuration requirements.



Primary accountability for the MIS Manager is to successfully implement Viewpoint Spectrum through effective working relationships with Crete Mechanical team members and local partners.



Key Deliverables:




  • High-level of local partner satisfaction with the system and implementation process.

  • Develop and deploy Spectrum technology solution project plans and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget.

  • Accurate and timely communication to Finance and Operations team

Position Responsibilities:




  • Maintains understanding of our business and partner objectives and how the system delivers them, modifies the existing Spectrum template to incorporate local configuration requirements.

  • Leads the on-site roll-out of Viewpoint Spectrum to our nationwide local partners and newly acquired businesses.

  • Works collaboratively with multiple key stakeholders and other functional & technical project team members to ensure successful & timely project delivery.

  • Prompt, and concise communication providing high quality service and leadership to align with local partner goals and requests.

  • Facilitates integrated testing internally and with local partners' teams. Develops UAT scenarios and coordinates testing with local partners in demo environment.

  • Conduct training for local partner and/or end-users at all levels of the organization.

  • Effective documentation of business requirements and processes, utilizing Spectrum best practices and visual process flowcharts as needed.

  • Identifies potential issues and risks; communicates them timely to supervisors with suggested paths for resolution.

  • Updates project plans and implementation tasks timely.

  • Plans and executes migration of data from legacy system to Spectrum environment.

  • Assists with user set up, role creation and security settings.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and creates modified procedures, building effective methodology into future projects.

  • Compiles and builds internal local partner department reports.

  • Designs and builds industry specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards

  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Position Requirements:




  • Up to 30% travel.

  • Experience implementing Viewpoint Spectrum or Vista.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years in a position in the accounting or finance field with exposure to multiple ERP systems.

  • 4+ years in a software technical support environment working heavily with external local partners, ideally in a financial or accounting software or application or a combination of the two.

  • Demonstrated experience with software implementation projects including maintaining and understanding a project budget, timeline, scope, training, and resource availability. Experience with ERP / SaaS and CRM software as well as 3rd Party marketplace partners.

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or CSPO certification a plus

  • Superior people skills; highly enthusiastic, positive-minded, and very personable. Proven success in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and process improve. Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

  • The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision at times.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and facilitation skills for communicating at all levels.

  • Must have consultative, local partner focus, & service skills are required. Ideal candidates will be results-oriented, forward-thinking, and can interface with several layers of professionals across the local partner, internal and vendor spectrum.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications. Ability to master and support championing of proper processes, transfer product knowledge and demonstrate workarounds in the product to satisfy shortcomings in product functionality.
