Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Altamonte Springs, FL.

Key Responsibilities:
* Data Engineer will design and implement data models for service lines that currently lack structured models
* Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and transformation
* Optimize and enhance existing data models and processes for improved performance and reliability
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* As a Data Engineer, you will ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all systems
* Must have excellent communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:
* Data Modeling: Strong experience in designing and implementing relational and dimensional models
* ETL Development: Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
* Experience with BI tools and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau)
* Familiarity with Alteryx or Azure Data Factory (ADF) for pipeline development
* Solid understanding of data architecture and best practices
* SQL (must-have): Advanced proficiency in writing complex queries and optimizing performance
* Excel proficiency
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* CX tools a plus, not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
