Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project scheduling, with expertise in various construction management software. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The Senior Project Scheduler will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules.

Key Skills

  • Strong P6 background with strong scheduling skills, Strong Knowledge of the PCA roles and responsibilities.

**LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY** within Service Territory. The role is hybrid with 2-4 a Month which encompasses working from office or field site visits, team meetings.

The location may vary depending on the month, however, it could be anywhere across the service area, which could be San Ramon, Oakland OGO, Stockton, or Fresno) These are the locations.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or its equivalent in education and experience
  • 5 years as a Project Controls Analyst; OR, 7 years of experience in electric or gas transmission and/or, distribution business operations area, business planning, accounting, finance, construction management and/or project management; OR 8 years of related experience if hired externally
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools.
  • Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information for accurate scheduling.
  • Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction management software to enhance project planning and execution.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates to reflect changes in project scope or timelines.
  • Analyze schedule performance metrics and provide reports to stakeholders.
  • Assist in construction estimating processes by providing detailed schedule insights.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between scheduling and project execution.
  • Manage contracts related to scheduling activities and ensure compliance with project timelines.
  • Provide training and support for junior schedulers or team members as needed.
  • Maintain effective time management practices to prioritize tasks efficiently.
