Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT infrastructure, performing server migrations, and working with Microsoft technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level candidate to take ownership of projects and collaborate directly with clients to deliver results.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute server migration projects, including designing solutions and communicating effectively with clients.
Manage and maintain Active Directory environments, ensuring their stability and security.
Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 and Azure.
Oversee the replacement and configuration of servers, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Implement and support Office 365 migrations, ensuring efficient and seamless transitions.
Conduct basic network troubleshooting to address connectivity and performance issues.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
Ensure system reliability and optimize performance across various platforms.
Document processes and maintain records of system changes and upgrades.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
Proven expertise in server migrations, including planning and execution.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and its associated components.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including migrations and administration.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based technologies.
Foundational understanding of network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Exceptional communication skills for effective client collaboration.
