Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructures, with a focus on automation and optimization. Your expertise in network administration and your proficiency with scripting (particularly Python) will be key to streamlining tasks and improving the overall efficiency of our network operations.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Cloud)
• Participate in activity planning and implementation
• Respond to incidents in the customer's LAN/WAN
• Interact with vendors on support cases
• Automate tasks related to network management and network inventory systems
• Support the execution environment for automation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Proficiency in network administration and troubleshooting
• Experience in automating tasks using scripting languages
• Knowledge of AAA mechanisms and identity stores (RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP)
• Experience in monitoring systems (Prometheus, Zabbix, etc.), SNMP/SNMP traps, Netflow, and syslog
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• B2 level of English proficiency

Nice to have

• Experience with RESTful APIs and text parsing
