The Florida PALM Project is a multi-year initiative to modernize Florida's financial systems. Over 1,500 computing assets must be updated due to the transition to a new accounting system, with full implementation planned for January 6, 2026.

Objective:
We are seeking an experienced C#/.NET developer to lead updates to financial web applications used for reporting, interfacing, and financial management.
We are seeking an experienced C#/.NET developer to lead updates to financial web applications used for reporting, interfacing, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and remediation of .NET applications impacted by the Florida PALM transition.
- Analyze, document, and update legacy financial systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work with teams and stakeholders to meet system and reporting needs.
- Ensure code quality and conduct full lifecycle development, testing, and deployment.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 8+ years in .NET (C#, ASP.NET/MVC, WebAPI)
- 5+ years as lead developer
- Strong background in SQL Server, JavaScript (Angular, Knockout), REST, XML/JSON, HTML/CSS

Preferred Experience:
- Financial systems and accounting applications
- Legacy system migration (e.g., COBOL, DB2)
- Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting principles
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of software architecture and cloud (Azure preferred)
- Ability to manage projects in Agile/Waterfall
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with security practices and system analysis
Soft Skills:
- Strong team player with leadership abilities
- Adaptable to change and fast-paced environments
- Customer-focused and detail-oriented
