Position: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: FTE
Shift: Monday to Thursday | 6:00 AM 4:00 PM EST
(Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OFF)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Center team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in technical support, service desk, or network operations, with strong skills in monitoring tools and escalation procedures. This role focuses on monitoring alerts, creating incidents, and ensuring timely escalation to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple alert queues using various NOC tools.
- Identify, assess, and escalate critical network incidents.
- Create and manage incident tickets with clear documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve network outages or performance issues.
- Ensure uptime and reliability by performing proactive monitoring.
- Maintain issue logs, shift handovers, and incident reports.
Required Skills & Tools
- NOC Monitoring / Dashboard Monitoring
- Email Alerts & Eyes-on-Glass Support
Experience with tools such as:
- AppDynamics
- SiteScope
- Riverbed
- SolarWinds
- MuleSoft
- Dynatrace
Qualifications
- 2+ years in Network Operations or Technical Support.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and incident documentation skills.
