SAP BPC Consultant
Location: Remote
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP BPC Consultant with a strong focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and deep technical expertise in SAP BW and BADI (Business Add-In) development. This role will lead the design, development, and implementation of BPC Standard solutions to support enterprise-wide budgeting, planning, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end implementation and enhancement of SAP BPC 10.1 Standard (NetWeaver) implementations for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Design and configure BPC dimensions, models (applications), input schedules, reports, and logic scripts based on business needs.
Work closely with finance stakeholders to understand planning requirements and translate them into BPC solutions.
Integrate SAP BPC with SAP BW by designing appropriate data models (InfoObjects, DSOs, Cubes) and Data Manager packages.
Develop and maintain custom BADI implementations to extend planning functionalities such as allocations, validations, and complex business logic.
Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, configuration guides, and user training materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP FI/CO, BW
Required Skills and Experience:
12+ years of experience in SAP BPC, with at least 5+ years in BPC 10.1 Standard model focused on Financial Planning.
Strong functional understanding of finance processes including Budgeting, Forecasting, CapEx and Headcount planning, and financial statements.
Advanced skills in Logic Script, Data Manager Packages, and EPM Add-in for Excel.
Experience in ABAP programming, particularly for BADI enhancements in the context of BPC.
Experience in Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshoot FI-related data flows into BPC (Actual data loads and Delta loads from ECC to BW and HANA using SLT)
Experience in developing HANA schemas, packages, calculation views
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
