Concurrent License Tool Administrator

Duration: 12 Months

This is a technical role. Responsibilities will include adding and configuring license servers and license managers to our license management tools, Installing and configuring concurrent/floating license managers on new servers, installing, and configuring agents on each license server to communicate with the license management tools, stopping and disabling license managers on the old servers, among other responsibilities.

Requirements

1. Strong understanding of software licensing including regional and other restrictions.
2. The primary skillset we are looking for in this role is 3+ years concurrent license administration experience using our two centralized license management tools: FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications (FNMEA) from Flexera and SAO from Altair.
3. 2+ years of Windows Server administrator experience
4. Experience adding and configuring application agents (FNMEA or SAO) on license servers.
5. Experience adding each license manager to the agents.
6. Experience configuring option files to limit and control access, configure reporting options, etc.
7. Good troubleshooting skills with license managers for both server and client
8. Strong understanding of the cloud environment. Including port opening requirements
9. Ability to identify where license server paths are saved on a client machine for each application. This info will be provided to an internal team to write a script that will update the server path to the new servers.
10. Good organization and communication skills
11. Familiarity with the Cummins environment
