Software Product Manager

This 80+ year old Financial Services company has over $65 Billion in assets and providing financial assistance for housing and economic development in the communities they serve.

You will lead the discovery of product strategy and develop the product roadmap, defining the product feature specification, manage product development, and coordinate multiple functional areas to develop solutions and customer experiences that align with business strategy, mission and values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comprehend customer journey and their needs to understand system and regulatory environment, keeping abreast of current technologies in banking/financial services industry.
• Identify and plan product capabilities roadmap to meet business objectives and long-term goals.
• Develop product vision and strategy, identify new opportunities, and create a shared understanding throughout the organization to foster agreement on the importance of product features and the sequence of the feature delivery.
• Communicate product strategy, updates, roadmaps, and progress to stakeholders, so that the decisions can be made with the product direction in mind.
• Manage product requirements, prioritize stakeholder needs, translate needs into product feature requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams for product design.
• Product development, manage the product backlog, prioritize features and coordinate multiple streams of development efforts.
• Capture holistic business architectures that support the products, including customer experience, business process, information systems, data flow and governance.
• Oversee the user acceptance testing, and ensure the product meets expectations of stakeholders and customers.
• Set timelines and goals, aligning the product roadmap, and tracking progress and performance.

BACKGROUND

• Solid experience in software product management with successful history of delivering customer-oriented, complex software solutions.
• Certification in Agile Product Management or Scrum Product Owner is required.
• Strong experience developing and presenting the business case, with ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
• Solid experience with business strategy and roadmap development
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, ability to manage stakeholder needs, and translate needs into feature requirements
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
