BI Lead

As the BI Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our modern data warehouse, built on Microsoft Fabric's medallion architecture. You will be responsible for driving insights that inform business decisions, enhance our product offerings, and ultimately improve the lives of our end users. This position offers the opportunity to lead our BI strategy, collaborate with business units to define reporting requirements, and guide the technical evolution of our data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Warehouse Development and Strategy:
    1. Lead the growth and optimization of our Datawarehouse, leveraging Microsoft Fabric medallion architecture, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and other tools.
    2. Expand data sources to include new integrations, such as Google Analytics and other external systems, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
    3. Design and implement efficient data models and pipelines to meet business needs.
  2. Business Insights and Reporting:
    1. Partner with business units together, analyze, and translate reporting and analytics requirements into actionable solutions.
    2. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that highlight meaningful insights for key stakeholders.
    3. Enable self-service reporting capabilities while ensuring data governance best practices are upheld.
  3. Leadership and Collaboration:
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to align BI efforts with business goals.
  5. Act as a mentor to junior team members, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  6. Drive adoption of BI tools and processes across the organization.

  8. Identifyopportunitiestoderiveactionableinsightsfromdatathatcontribute directly to the success of our platform.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI or data analytics
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Power BI, Cosmos DB, and Python

notebooks.

  • Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, medallion architecture and

star schemas in a data warehouse.

  • Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical solutions, with a

focus on delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other marketing data platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of source control and deployment pipelines for BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-

technical stakeholders.
