Description: Title: Level 3 Application Support Engineer - Senior Manager (App Support)

Location: Dallas, TX (On-site Tuesdays and Thursdays required)
Job Type: Contract (6+ months) with Right to Hire
Start Date: Week of July 7 or July 14
End Date: December 31, 2025 (Strong potential for extension or conversion to permanent)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Level 3 Application Support Engineer at the Senior Manager level to join the Tax Innovation team. This role involves hands-on technical support, leadership of large-scale support initiatives, and direct client engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and mentoring junior engineers, while driving innovation in support processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end support process for designated Tax applications.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client interactions and relationship management.
  • Apply advanced analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
  • Ensure high standards of quality and client satisfaction in all support activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in application support.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Azure cloud infrastructure
    • Troubleshooting and incident resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and Microsoft DevOps.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
  • Familiarity with Identity Management principles.
  • Experience using monitoring tools such as DataDog.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train junior engineers.
