IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client, is looking for a Technician to help augment Systems and Engineering team that oversees IT infrastructure and server systems. The current team members are involved in a project to migrate servers, consolidating systems into new data centers. This position will work with the team, stakeholders, and clients migrating Windows and Linux machines and perform day-to-day systems administration work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with users and stakeholders.

NOTE: Candidates must be a current Wisconsin resident. No relocation allowed. This position is 100% remote within the state of Wisconsin.

Location: Madison, WI (remote form within the State of WI)

Contract: 3+ Months (possibility of extension)

Skills Required:

• 1+ years - Proficiency in using VMware to manage Windows and Linux Servers.
• 1+ years - Experience building, configuring, and managing Windows and Linux servers in a complex environment with over 300 servers.
• 1+ years - Experience implementing and maintaining security and disaster recovery measures on Windows and Linux servers to safeguard data and applications.
• 1+ years - Experience answering support tickets, assisting users with issues related to Windows servers and applications.

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Experience monitoring system performance and uptime.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Intune, and/or M365
• Knowledge of IAM systems and two factor authentication, in particular Okta
• Experience working with MS SQL servers and clusters.
