Job Details

Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Exp: 10+ years

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management - Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
  • Automation and Orchestration- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and CloudFormation/Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Monitoring and Logging - Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Security and Compliance - Implement best practices for security and compliance, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security to protect data and applications.
  • Performance Optimization - Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost, making recommendations for improvements and scaling as needed.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software applications and infrastructure.
  • Documentation - Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Terraform scripting.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.

Certifications AWS/Google Cloud Platform Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS/Google Cloud Platform Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
