Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant (10+ Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with over 10 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics 365 ERP solutions (primarily D365 Finance and Operations and/or D365 Customer Engagement). The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-impact configurations and customizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O or CE), including requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, and deployment.

  • Act as the functional expert in at least one or more D365 modules such as:

    • Finance (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Budgeting)

    • Supply Chain (Inventory, Procurement, Sales, Warehousing)

    • Customer Engagement (Sales, Service, Marketing)

    • Project Operations or Human Resources

  • Create functional requirement documents (FRDs), fit-gap analyses, test cases, training materials, and user manuals.

  • Work with technical teams to translate business needs into functional and technical specs for custom development.

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions with key stakeholders and end-users.

  • Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and system enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, project managers, and client business teams.

  • Stay updated on new features/releases and guide the customer through upgrades and roadmap planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and previous versions (AX 2012, CRM 2016).

  • In-depth understanding of D365 modules with hands-on configuration and deployment expertise.

  • Strong business process knowledge across Finance, Operations, and/or Customer Relationship Management.

  • Expertise in Fit-Gap analysis, solution design, and functional documentation.

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), integrations, and reporting tools like Power BI.

  • Familiarity with LCS (Lifecycle Services), Azure DevOps, and task management tools.

  • Good command of data migration, testing, and cutover activities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Associate (Finance/SCM/CE)

  • Experience in working with global rollouts and multi-entity implementations

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or logistics industries is a plus

  • Familiarity with ISVs, third-party add-ons, and customizations

  • Basic understanding of X++, integrations, and technical design review

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
