Job Description :: An Application Database Administrator specializes in managing and maintaining Oracle databases and applications, such as EBusiness, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Hyperion, OBIEE, WebLogic, and Retek. Their responsibilities include capacity planning, tool management, ongoing tuning, backup and recovery, migrations, security enforcement, and patch management. They also troubleshoot issues, understand technology relationships, and adhere to best practices for highly available infrastructure, load balancing, application clusters, access management, and application deploy processes.
