WAGE RANGE*: $60-80/hr.

We looking for a profile for Mars anywhere in US to work normal business hours EST. The resource would be remote. The duration would be 18 months.

Required Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or Network Security with relevant work experience in the field.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Experience in ITIL and ITSM.
• At least 5 years of network/security engineering design and implementation experience.
• Palo Alto's PCNSE certification or equivalent experience and knowledge of Security, Routing and Switching
• CCNP certification or equivalent experience and knowledge of Security, Routing and Switching
• Advanced knowledge and hands on experience of cloud routing protocols
• Experience in designing and leveraging IaC solutions to standardize implementations.
• Prior Experience in working in Global Companies
• Must be able to interact effectively within all levels of the company
• Project management Experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Good multi-task management, time management and self-organization
• Excellent problem solver, flexible and able to accommodate changing priorities and directions
• Advanced knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following:
  • Network Security (Palo Alto and Meraki)
  • Cisco SD WAN
  • Azure Cloud Networking
  • Google Cloud Platform
  • Terraform
  • Ansible

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CANDIDATE PROFILE AND ROLE EXPECTATION

The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has experience of working in a global network management team and IT Services environment, either product or project focused. Holds relevant Tertiary qualifications and has a demonstrated level of experience, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, an aptitude for navigating ambiguity and has strong attention to detail. Beyond the technical capacities the candidate must have excellent communication skills & a customer focus mindset, as this role requires interaction with a variety of teams across and within the business acting as a single point of contact representing the team daily on a key strategic program as part of a business evolution within a customer segment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translates business requirements into technical and functional solution specifications
• Contributes towards IaC development of network platforms to deliver against business goals
• Performs URL, web-content and application listing/filtering
• Designs and implement Firewall Rules accordingly to business requirements while maintaining and contributing to security standards.
• Provides 3rd level technical escalation support as a network security subject matter expertise.
• Conduct risk assessments and develops mitigation plans
• Collaborates with other Network Engineers and Customer Engineers around the globe in the design and deployment of new services and/or enhancements to existing network services at customer locations.
• Controls, updates and maintains documentation
• Supervise vendor resources to support and maintain company network operation within supported technology.
