You'll guide cross-functional teams, serve as the primary customer point of contact, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and beyond expectations. This is an onsite role based at the Collins Aerospace facility in Colorado Springs, CO.

This role is eligible for relocation support.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects
  • Establish baseline spend plans and adhere to change approval requirements
  • Develop and maintain project metrics
  • Manage project resource requirements using the Resource Planning tool
  • Comply with RLPM processes
  • Represent the engineering team up, down, and across the organization for their projects
  • Actively engage in personal development activities to support furtherance of project management knowledge
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and seek opportunities for efficiency gains with engineering processes and tools
  • Support business travel up to 10% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or System Engineering or related

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Familiarity with aviation seating products
  • Direct experience with Earned Value Management
  • Understands principle of bottom-up estimating for Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) estimates
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, Project, OneNote / Teams / Zoom
  • Experienced with using Teamcenter processes and tools
  • Familiarity with SAP

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
