Job Details

The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-
  • Develop applications and deploy/manage cloud-based solutions.
  • Participate in the validation of application/system implementation layers.
  • Write and build configuration files for test environments and create REST web services to retrieve information and interact with middleware services.
  • Implement asynchronous messaging between components and transfer key knowledge and code ownership.
  • Participate in design, definition, planning, development, and implementation of projects.
  • Develop advanced Java components like Spring and Hibernate. Create functional documents for functionality flows and act as a subject matter expert on the functionality of projects. Coordinate with project developers, software designers, testing teams, and consultants. Deploy/support infrastructure systems and conduct peer design/code reviews.
  • Perform debugging, manual testing, and unit testing of code.
  • Ensure adherence to strategic direction and architecture strategies.
  • Perform analysis of business problems and technical environments.
  • Convert requirements into technical design documents.
  • Utilize understanding of business requirements to produce technical solutions and deliver applications.
  • Work with business owners to associate business goals with features, user stories, and tasks. Drive adoption of best practices and innovative product implementation.
  • Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications-

Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering or related plus three years of software engineering experience within the PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) domain. Will accept a 3- or 4- year bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent. Experience must include Java, MongoDB, REST, SOAP, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Camunda, Pivotal Cloud

Foundry (PCF), and Agile methodology.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 120,100 - 200,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
