Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity supporting both Marketing Campaign and credit card origination teams. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in advanced analytics and survey analysis. Candidates must have an advanced degree- either a Masters or PHD. Candidates can have experience with any of the following tools- SAS, R, or python. Candidates need to be able to do factor analysis.

Description

- Experience with Tableau for data visualization
- Strong data wrangling and factor analysis capabilities
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Up-to-date knowledge of machine learning and data analytics tools and techniques
- Strong understanding of predictive modeling methodologies
- Experience with structured and unstructured data
- Proficiency in R/RStudio, Python, SAS, SQL, and NoSQL
- Familiarity with Cloud ML technologies (e.g., AWS SageMaker) and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, caret)
- Advanced statistical methods: Bayesian Networks, regression (linear/non-linear), hierarchical and mixed models
- Ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently across multiple tasks
- Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity and outcome-focused mindset
- Professional presence and ability to build relationships across functions
Preferred Experience
- Financial Services experience
- 1-3 years of experience in machine learning, cloud computing, predictive modeling, and big data analysis
- Experience with survey analysis is a plus
Education
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related fields
